Viele Jahre lang war Susan Dietrich Schneider in der Hippie-Szene San Franciscos involviert, bevor sie zusammen mit ihrem Mann im Zuge des Vietnamkrieges untertauchte.
Fortan musizierte Schneider auf den Straßen, um Geld zu verdienen. Ihre futuristischen Coversongs und Ihr ausgefallenes Kostüm machten "The Space Lady" in den 70er Jahren zu einer kleinen Berühmtheit. Nach einigen Jahrzehnten Stille, folgt jetzt ihr Comeback.
