Mit „The Kids Are Alt-right“ legt Candice Gordon eine postpunkige Selbstverständlichkeit an den Tag, die in jedem Fall abtanzbar, wenn nicht mosh-pitförderlich ist. Sie setzt ihre kraftvolle Stimme auch für samtige Folksongs ein, die alles andere als Rauch in der Luft sind. Ihr Debutalbum „Garden of the Beasts“ nahm die irische Sängerin sowohl in Limerick als auch im Funkhaus in Berlin auf. Seit dem ist Candice Gordon von der Hauptstadt fasziniert und inspiriert.
