Das Trio aus Los Angeles verbindet man trotz einiger vorsichtiger Ausfl\u00fcge in elektronischere Gebiete und Dancefloor ja doch eher mit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.byte.fm\/blog\/alben-der-woche\/cherry-glazerr-stuffed-ready-album-der-woche-85321\">Garage-Rock-Gitarren<\/a>. Aber eigentlich passt das neue klangliche Gewand in dieser Hinsicht ziemlich gut zu unserem heutigen Track des Tages. Denn das Lied ist nicht nur der erste neue Cherry-Glazerr-Song dieses Jahres. Er ist auch das Zeugnis einer Neuorientierung. Und das nicht nur auf der musikalischen Ebene.<\/p>\n<p>Clementine Creevy, die S\u00e4ngerin und Gitarristin der Band, befand, dass es endlich einmal an der Zeit f\u00fcr eine <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stereogum.com\/2110195\/cherry-glazerr-rabbit-hole\/music\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">seelische Inventur<\/a> war. Und stellte dabei fest, dass sie eigentlich viel zu oft versucht, es anderen recht zu machen. Und w\u00e4hrenddessen im sprichw\u00f6rtlichen Hasenbau verschwindet, der im Englischen sinnbildlich f\u00fcr eine bodenlose Zeit- und Energiefalle steht. Die neue Single ihrer Band ist also das tanzbare Produkt eines Selbstfindungsprozesses.
