In seinem Gr\u00fcndungsjahr 2010 lieferte der Act, dessen Name eine Anspielung auf den Athener Stadtteil Kypseli ist, eines der sch\u00f6nsten Beispiele einer Musik, die man damals \u201e<a href=\"https:\/\/www.byte.fm\/sendungen\/bytefm-container\/2014-10-18\/17\/chillwave-mit-carsten-brueck\/\">Chillwave<\/a>\u201c nannte. In der wechselnden Bandbesetzung ist der Produzent R\u03a0\u042f die einzige Konstante. F\u00fcr die Gesangsparts l\u00e4dt der Produzent immer wieder verschiedene internationale G\u00e4ste ein. Stilistisch haben sich Keep Shelly In Athens in verschiedenen Ecken der Wave-Pop-Landschaft versucht.
