Es klingt nach dem schn\u00f6rkellosen Soul der goldenen Zeiten von Labels wie Stax oder Motown. Nat\u00fcrlich klingt es retro, aber im besten Sinne des Wortes. Es klingt nach der R\u00fcckbesinnung auf alte Werte und f\u00e4ngt unangestrengt den rohen Charme und die W\u00e4rme gro\u00dfer Soulwerke der 60er Jahre ein.<\/p>\n<p>So ehrlich die Musik ist, so ehrlich ist auch der Albumtitel, kann die 53j\u00e4hrige Jones doch erst seit ihrem Debutalbum \u201eDap Dippin&#8217;\u201c 2002 von der Musik leben. Die Stimme von Jones ist zweifellos beeindruckend, aber ohne die Dap-Kings w\u00e4re ein Album wie \u201eI Learned The Hard Way\u201c nicht m\u00f6glich; schlie\u00dflich wurde es komplett von der Band entworfen und aufgenommen. Ihr K\u00f6nnen und Verst\u00e4ndnis von Soul ist mittlerweile legend\u00e4r, was ihnen Kollaborationen mit K\u00fcnstlern wie Al Green, Hank Shocklee, Amy Winehouse und ihrem Produzenten Mark Ronson einbrachte.<\/p>\n<p>Wir spielen jeden Tag zwischen 15 und 17 Uhr im ByteFM Magazin einen Song aus dem Album von Sharon Jones &amp; The Dap-Kings.
