In vielerlei Hinsicht: Das niederl\u00e4ndisch-indonesisch-t\u00fcrkische Sextett lie\u00df <a href=\"https:\/\/www.byte.fm\/blog\/alben-der-woche\/altin-guen-on-album-der-woche-77298\/\">auf seinem Deb\u00fct \u201eOn<\/a>\u201c und dem Nachfolger \u201eGece\u201c alte Volkslieder und Obskurit\u00e4ten auf eine multikulturelle Gegenwart prallen. Anatolische Standards wurden in hochpr\u00e4zisen 70er-Jahre-Funk \u00fcbersetzt. Wer sich von der schier telepathischen Tightness dieser Band \u00fcberzeugen wollte, bekam seit dem 2018er Deb\u00fct genug Gelegenheit \u2013 Alt\u0131n G\u00fcn haben sich in den vergangenen Jahren mit unz\u00e4hligen Konzerten einen Namen als unantastbarer Live-Act gemacht. Sechs Musiker*innen, die in jeder Bewegung, jeder Bassdrum, jedem Saz-Ton auf die Mikrosekunde genau miteinander synchronisiert waren. Diese Musik kann eigentlich nur im organischen Zusammentreffen entstehen.<\/p>\n<p>Das Konzept \u201eorganisches Zusammentreffen\u201c wurde im Jahr 2020 aufgrund bekannter Ursachen ziemlich auf die Probe gestellt. Nun ver\u00f6ffentlichen Alt\u0131n G\u00fcn ihr drittes Album \u201eYol\u201c. Komplett aufgenommen im Jahr 2020 und den damit verbundenen Sicherheitsvorkehrungen, ohne, dass alle Menschen jemals gleichzeitig in einem Raum waren. Wie klingt ein \u201eLockdown-Album\u201c dieser so sehr auf den gemeinsamen \u201eLive-Moment\u201c ausgelegten Band?<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Grenzen \u00fcberwindender Wave-Pop<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Ganz fantastisch. Alt\u0131n G\u00fcn haben sich daf\u00fcr ein paar ziemlich geniale Tricks ausgedacht, die ihre diesj\u00e4hrige Sammlung von abenteuerlichen Neuinterpretationen von den vorigen absetzt. \u201eYol\u201c beginnt mit einer auf 30 Sekunden komprimierten Version des t\u00fcrkischen Folk-Songs \u201eBah\u00e7ada Ye\u015fil \u00c7\u0131nar\u201c, das weniger nach Funk-Party, sondern mehr nach vom Hall verwaschener 80er-Jahre-Erinnerung klingt. \u201eOrdunun Dereleri\u201c f\u00fchrt die Reise ins Schulterpolster-Jahrzehnt fort. Erdin\u00e7 Ecevit singt \u00fcber glitzernde Synthesizer und programmiert klingende Drumbeats. Auf \u201eGece\u201c experimentierten Alt\u0131n G\u00fcn bereits mit Synth-Pop und New-Wave, doch so sehr wie hier klangen sie noch nie wie nach Duran Duran. <\/p>\n<p>Die pulsierenden Arpeggios scheinen die Leerstellen zu f\u00fcllen, die der vom Abstand gepr\u00e4gte Aufnahmeprozess hervorbrachte. Und dieser Sound steht der Band ausgezeichnet. In \u201eBulunur Mu\u201c klingt Merve Dasdemir wie Donna Summer und das Instrumental wie von Giorgio Moroder. Das mit knusprigen Handclaps angereicherte \u201eY\u00fcce Da\u011f Ba\u015f\u0131nda\u201c ist euphorische, fast schon unversch\u00e4mt eing\u00e4ngige Disco. Umgeben von diesen kristallenen Kl\u00e4ngen klingen auch Throwbacks an den alten \u201eOn\u201c-Sound wie \u201eYekte\u201c frisch und neu. Distanziert ist hier gar nichts.
