Zum ersten Mal machte das Trio aus London im vergangenen November auf sich aufmerksam. Da stellte die Gruppe n\u00e4mlich mit dem Track \u201e<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=53ZDR3d0rIw&#038;list=OLAK5uy_li9cmBZvT4eXjA-dp-qLlBy-wwIjvXitw\" target=\"blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Eternal Returns<\/a>\u201c ihr Deb\u00fct-Release ins Netz. Der Song klang zugleich wild und ruhig, flamboyant und bodenst\u00e4ndig. Es war ein wenig \u00fcberraschend, dass ein St\u00fcck mit Motorik-Beat, 90s-Style-Wave-Referenzen, Saxofon und Hardrock-Gitarren so aufger\u00e4umt klingen konnte. Aber wenn es funktioniert, funktioniert es. Dem St\u00fcck wohnte sogar eine gewisse Tanzfl\u00e4chentauglichkeit inne. Eine noch sehr viel st\u00e4rkere Dancefloor-Orientierung weist nun aber die Nachfolgesingle auf.<\/p>\n<p>Freilich ist unser heutiger Track des Tages nicht einfach blo\u00df ein Tanzst\u00fcck. In ihm quietschen und jaulen zwischen einem Discobeat und subtiler Percussion Gitarren und Synthies. Was schon ein wenig stressig ist und wohl auch sein soll. Denn Regressive Left wollen keine beil\u00e4ufige Musik machen, daf\u00fcr ist ihnen allein schon die textliche Ebene zu wichtig. Sie verstehen sich als politische Band und die Lyrics handeln von sozialen Ungerechtigkeiten in einem schwer \u00fcberschaubaren kapitalistischen Gewirr.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eTake The Hit\u201c von Regressive Left ist heute unser Track des Tages.
