Sein St\u00fcck \u201eThe Beginning\u201c ist heute unser Track des Tages.\" \/><\/p>\n<h6>Andy Stott<\/h6>\n<p>\u201eThe Beginning\u201c vom britischen Produzenten Andy Stott ist in mehrerer Hinsicht tats\u00e4chlich ein Neuanfang. Zun\u00e4chst einmal ist es die erste Single aus dem in gut zwei Wochen erscheinenden neuen Album des Musikers aus Manchester. Aber auch musikalisch hat er sich neu orientiert. Nachdem er aus pers\u00f6nlichen Gr\u00fcnden im vergangenen Jahr eine kreative Pause eingelegt hatte, kehrte er mit frischen Ideen zur\u00fcck ins Studio. Wobei man der Fairness halber sagen muss, dass Andy Stott ohnehin nie dazu geneigt hat, k\u00fcnstlerisch zu stagnieren. Dub und <a href=\"https:\/\/www.byte.fm\/sendungen\/electro-royale\/2016-05-07\/20\/kontrastprogramm\/\">Techno<\/a> sind irgendwie immer in seiner Musik gewesen. Doch der Raum zwischen Dub und Techno ist ziemlich gro\u00df. Und es ist ein weiter Weg von Stotts fr\u00fchen Club-Tracks zu sp\u00e4teren Ambient-St\u00fccken. Trotzdem hat der Produzent einen wiedererkennbaren Sound, auch wenn er sich klanglich eigentlich eher ungern wiederholt.<\/p>\n<p>Wenn Andy Stott Musik macht, dann m\u00f6chte er nicht vertonen, was in seinem Leben passiert, sondern einfach daraus sch\u00f6pfen, was seine kreative Intuition eben gerade anzubieten hat. Das klingt meist ungemein organisch. Was wohl auch damit zusammenh\u00e4ngt, dass Stott den Versuchungen digitaler Produktionsmittel widersteht, seine St\u00fccke zu perfekt und clean zu halten. Stattdessen hebt er Unebenheiten lieber hervor, die andere eher wegb\u00fcgeln w\u00fcrden. Unser Track des Tages ist nun weder Ambient- noch Clubmusik. Mit den k\u00f6rperlosen Vocals von Stotts ehemaliger Klavierlehrerin Alison Skidmore k\u00f6nnte man das St\u00fcck fast schon als Synthwave-Dub einordnen. Wenn man liest, was der Producer w\u00e4hrend seiner Studiopause so geh\u00f6rt hat, kann man auch einiges davon wiedererkennen. Zum Beispiel Prince, Prefab Sprout und die <a href=\"https:\/\/www.byte.fm\/sendungen\/tazmixtape\/2017-07-28\/17\/can-nene-hatun-lana-del-rey-japanese-breakfast-nid\/\">portugiesische Produzentin<\/a> N\u00eddia.
