Jalen Santoy) den US-Markt zu knacken (Foto: Matt Barnes)<\/h6>\n<p>Unser heutiger Track des Tages \u201eWay Too Fast\u201c von der kanadischen Rapperin Haviah Mighty ist schon lange in Planung gewesen. Es war im Jahr 2019, als die Rapperin aus Toronto einen geh\u00f6rigen Selbstbewusstseinsboost erfuhr. Und zwar nicht im Sinne eines mit hei\u00dfer Luft aufgeblasenen Egos, sondern im gesunden, produktiven Rahmen. Denn als sie \u00fcber ihre Karriere nachdachte, fielen der HipHop-K\u00fcnstlerin einfach keine guten Gr\u00fcnde ein, die dagegen spr\u00e4chen, dass sie alles erreichen kann, was sie m\u00f6chte. Das ist nat\u00fcrlich leichter empfunden und noch leichter gesagt, als es dann tats\u00e4chlich getan ist. Und so arbeitete sie an einer Strategie, sich auf dem wichtigsten Markt im internationalen Rap-Zirkus zu etablieren. Und das ist selbstredend der US-amerikanische. Der ist zwar geografisch nicht weit weg von Kanada, aber trotzdem haben es kanadische Acts dort nicht leicht. Drake hat es geschafft, aber welcher HipHop-Act aus Kanada spielt in der gleichen Erfolgs-Liga?<\/p>\n<p>Haviah Mighty hat mit Sicherheit das Potenzial dazu. Und dass sie jede Menge Skills hat und auch keine Angst vor politischen, historischen und gesellschaftlichen Themen, hat sie mit St\u00fccken wie \u201e<a href=\"https:\/\/www.byte.fm\/blog\/news\/haviah-mightys-erste-2020er-single-atlantic-106352\">Atlantic<\/a>\u201c bewiesen.
