Der Longplayer h\u00f6rt auf den sch\u00f6nen Namen \u201eHexentanzplatz\u201c. Inspiriert ist der Titel durch eine Reise durch den Harz. Doch die Hexenthematik beschreibt eigentlich auch die klangliche \u00c4sthetik der Musik von Alice Hubble recht treffend. Denn ein wenig gemahnt die Atmosph\u00e4re ihrer Songs an die popkulturellen 60er- und 70er-Jahre. An eine Zeit, als in Filmen wie \u201eA Clockwork Orange\u201c und B\u00fcchern wie \u201eHigh-Rise\u201c das Ultramoderne mit dem Archaischen kollidierten. Oder eine Hexengilde eine Ballettschule betrieb wie in Dario Argentos Film \u201eSuspiria\u201c. Doch beide erw\u00e4hnten Filme leben nicht nur vom Bild, sondern auch von ihren Soundtracks. Gepr\u00e4gt waren diese von den Synthesizer-Sounds von Wendy Carlos, beziehungsweise der <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=wtXz3OlFwZA&amp;list=PLD2FA56FDAD32BBDF\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">italienischen Prog-Band<\/a> Goblin. Beide suchen heute die Musik von Alice Hubble heim, die sie alleine zu Hause produziert, von einer gro\u00dfen Synthie-Sammlung umgeben.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eHexentanzplatz\u201c ist das Nachfolgealbum zu \u201ePolarlichter\u201c von 2019. Darauf fanden sich zwischen atmosph\u00e4rischen und krautigen St\u00fccken veritable Hits wie \u201eKick The Habit\u201c und \u201e<a href=\"https:\/\/www.byte.fm\/blog\/news\/alice-hubble-goddess-91164\/\">Goddess<\/a>\u201c. All das gibt es auch auf dem im September erscheinenden Longplayer der Wahl-Londonerin. Ein besonders sch\u00f6ner Song davon ist schon heute unser Track des Tages. In ihm lernt sie durch alte Liebesbriefe eine neue Seite ihrer Mutter kennen, die sie als Teenager verloren hat. Die Single, in der melancholische Vintage-Synth-Fl\u00e4chen auf einen lockeren Latin-Beat treffen, folgt dem krautrockigeren \u201ePower Play\u201c.
