Denn das New Yorker Trio beschloss, gemeinsam Synthpop zu machen, als die Mitglieder den Song \u201e<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Y43XLVqjytQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Electricity<\/a>\u201c von Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark h\u00f6rten. Vorher hatten der S\u00e4nger und Gitarrist Ian Richard Devaney und der Bassist Michael Sue-Poi schon zusammen bei The Static Jacks gespielt. Das war eine eher krachige, gitarrenlastige Indie-Pop-Band. Doch die lag schon schon eine Weile auf Eis, als die beiden Bandkollegen und Devaneys Freundin, die Keyboarderin Aidan Noell, ihre OMD-Erweckung erfuhren. Ab 2016 begannen sie zu dritt als Nation Of Language, erste Singles herauszubringen.<\/p>\n<p>Mit einem ersten, passend betitelten Longplayer setzte sich das Trio dann selbstbestimmt auf die musikalische Landkarte. Denn \u201eIntroduction, Presence\u201c ver\u00f6ffentlichte die Gruppe im Selbstverlag. Was den Mitgliedern nat\u00fcrlich auch den Freiraum gibt, sich anderen Projekten zu widmen, wenn ihnen der Sinn danach steht. So singt Ian Richard Devaney auch bei der Band Machinegum, in der Fabrizio Moretti von The Strokes auf dem Schlagzeugschemel sitzt. Aidan Noell hat ihrerseits auch schon zwei synthwavige Solo-Singles ver\u00f6ffentlicht. Aber jetzt haben die drei Lust gehabt auf eine zweite Albumrunde mit Nation Of Language. Ende des Jahres erscheint der Longplayer; jetzt schon ist die dritte und sch\u00f6nste Vorabsingle daraus unser Track des Tages.<\/p>\n<p>Die Band Nation Of Language ver\u00f6ffentlicht ihr zweites Album \u201eA Way Forward\u201c am 5. November 2021. Der als Single ausgekoppelte Song \u201eThis Fractured Mind\u201c daraus ist heute unser Track des Tages.
