Es muss direkt zu Beginn erw\u00e4hnt werden, dass der Autor dieser Zeilen noch nie ein gro\u00dfer Fan von deutschsprachiger Musik war und doch wird \u201eLiebhaber\u201c in Dauerschleife geh\u00f6rt und das St\u00fcck entwickelt sich dar\u00fcber hinaus zu einem der schlimmsten Ohrw\u00fcrmer der letzten Zeit. <\/p>\n<p>\u201eRot\u201c ist nach zwei Jahren ein weiteres Album von Levin Goes Lightly, der nun nicht mehr Solo-K\u00fcnstler ist, sondern Musik mit Band macht und auch mit Band auftritt. Levin Stadler tr\u00e4gt gerne Lippenstift, mag Diskomusik, ist mit The Cure und Roxy Music aufgewachsen und hat eine ausgepr\u00e4gte Vorliebe f\u00fcr eine gute Wortwahl und all das h\u00f6rt man auf seinem neuen Album. \u00dcber Zeilen wie \u201eDu fl\u00fcsterst mir in die Augen, ich fl\u00fcster Dir zur\u00fcck\u201c muss man nachdenken, um dann zu schmunzeln und vielleicht in Romantik zu verfallen. Was schon deshalb passt, weil die Zeilen aus dem dritten St\u00fcck des Albums namens \u201eRomantik\u201c stammen. Es ist das heimliche Titelst\u00fcck, nicht zuletzt wegen der ebenfalls einpr\u00e4gsamen Zeile \u201eIch sehe rot, doch nicht aus Wut\u201c. <\/p>\n<h4><strong>\u201eDu fl\u00fcsterst mir in die Augen, ich fl\u00fcster Dir zur\u00fcck\u201c<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Dazu gibt es stets einen deutlich von den 80er-Jahren beeinflussten Sound mit ausladenden Gitarren, einpr\u00e4gsamen Bassl\u00e4ufen und teils l\u00e4ssigem, teils hektischem Schlagzeug. Nicht nur bei \u201eLiebhaber\u201c sind Assoziationen zu Falco sofort da und \u201eAll Cats Are Beautiful\u201c k\u00f6nnte glatt ein neuer Song von The Cure sein. \u201eIch sch\u00e4me mich, ich sch\u00e4me mich, ich sch\u00e4me mich, ich sch\u00e4me mich, ich sch\u00e4me mich \u2013 am liebsten vor Dir\u201c ist dann erneut eine Zeile, die h\u00e4ngenbleibt \u2013 aus dem auf  tolle Weise flirrenden und schwebenden St\u00fcck \u201eGeschichten\u201c. <\/p>\n<p>Dieses Flirren ist ein roter Faden des Albums \u201eRot\u201c und es ist nur konsequent, dass \u201eFlirren\u201c ein weiterer H\u00f6hepunkt dieses leider nur aus neun St\u00fccken bestehenden Werks ist. \u201eFlirren\u201c ist wohl das beste Beispiel f\u00fcr Levin Stadlers \u201eSehnsucht nach Ber\u00fchrung, Ekstase, N\u00e4he, L\u00e4rm\u201c, wie er selber die Idee des Albums formuliert.<\/p>\n<p>Das Album schlie\u00dft mit \u201eKnowing Me, Knowing You\u201c \u2013 und um Fragezeichen im Kopf direkt zu beseitigen: Ja, es ist eine Cover-Version des ABBA-Klassikers und von solchen Klassikern (das haben schon Cover-Alben zu The Velvet Underground, Nirvana und anderen gezeigt) sollte man im Grunde einfach die Finger lassen. Das gilt auch f\u00fcr dieses Schlussst\u00fcck des ansonsten wirklich sehr spannenden Albums des jungen Stuttgarters.<\/p>\n<p>Ver\u00f6ffentlichung: 5.
