Die Songs der f\u00fcnf New Yorker sind bis ins kleinste Detail auskomponiert \u2013 eine Qualit\u00e4t, die nach den grandiosen Vorg\u00e4ngern \u201eBoxer\u201c und \u201eAlligator\u201c nun ein neues Level erreicht hat. Die Instrumente der klassischen Besetzung aus Gitarren, Schlagzeug, Bass und Keys werden nicht darauf beschr\u00e4nkt, Berningers Stimme ein m\u00f6glichst angenehmes Bett zu geben, sondern tragen durch ihre dezenten Melodieb\u00f6gen zur vielschichtigen Komplexit\u00e4t der Lieder bei.<\/p>\n<p>Immer wieder habe die Band ihre Entw\u00fcrfe \u00fcberarbeitet und bis zur letzten Minute an den zw\u00f6lf Songs gefeilt, erz\u00e4hlt Berninger ByteFM Moderator Dennis Kastrup im Interview. \u201eMan muss einfach so hart wie m\u00f6glich mit seinen Songs umgehen und alles ausprobieren, um dann am Ende das zu behalten, was gut ist.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Mit \u201eHigh Violet\u201c vertonen The National einmal mehr Mittdrei\u00dfiger-Melancholie, Orte spielen eine gro\u00dfe Rolle, eigene Unzul\u00e4nglichkeiten und der Wunsch, die eigene Tochter vor der ungem\u00fctlichen Erwachsenenwelt zu besch\u00fctzen.<\/p>\n<p>Jeden tag spielen wir einen Song aus unserem Album der Woche in unserem ByteFM Magazin von 15 bis 17 Uhr. Die ausf\u00fchrliche H\u00f6rprobe folgt am Freitag in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.byte.fm\/index.php?cont=sendungen_detail&#038;sendung=145&#038;termin=18850\" target=\"Blank\">Neuland<\/a>, der Sendung mit den neuen und wichtigen Platten.
