Bislang ist der in Montreal ans\u00e4ssige K\u00fcnstler n\u00e4mlich \u00fcberwiegend als Produzent elektronischer Musik in Erscheinung getreten. So hat er in den vergangenen Jahren sowohl unter seinem Klarnamen als auch unter dem Pseudonym Project Pablo etliche elektronische, oft clubbige Alben und Singles ver\u00f6ffentlicht. Auch seine Handschrift als Remixer f\u00fcr Acts wie Jacques Greene oder die kanadische Band Tops ist eher in Richtung Dancefloor ausgerichtet. Doch wie bei den meisten interessanten Musiker*innen ist Hollands musikalischer Horizont breiter als die musikalische Schiene, auf die er sich jahrelang kapriziert hat.<\/p>\n<p>Mit der Indie-Pop-Band Tops verbindet Patrick Holland nicht nur der Umstand, dass ihn die Gruppe als Remixer und Produzenten angeheuert hat. Zwar wird er derzeit nicht als festes Bandmitglied gef\u00fchrt, doch er hat sowohl im Studio als auch auf der B\u00fchne viel Zeit mit Tops verbracht und unterst\u00fctzt die Band als Live-Bassist. Vielleicht hat deren an 80er-Synthpop und eleganten Bands wie Prefab Sprout und Fleetwood Mac geschulter Sound alte Leidenschaften von Patrick Holland befeuert. Zumindest gehen seine Solo-Songs in eine \u00e4hnliche \u00e4sthetische Richtung. Bereits seit dem Jahr 2015 hatte Holland das Verlangen, nicht nur Club-Tracks zu produzieren, sondern pers\u00f6nlichere Songs zu schreiben und singen. Das Ergebnis seiner siebenj\u00e4hrigen Reise erscheint Ende Juli 2022 in Form seines ersten Pop-Albums.<\/p>\n<p>Das Album \u201eYou&#8217;re The Boss\u201c von Patrick Holland wird am 29.
