Mit der neuen Single \u201eAb und zu\u201c legen Peter Rubel und Pedro Goncalves Crescenti aka The D\u00fcsseldorf D\u00fcsterboys die erste Single ihres kommenden Albums \u201eDuo Duo\u201c vor. Ein schwebend-sch\u00f6nes Dreieinhalb-Minuten-St\u00fcck mit dem typischen, mehrstimmigen Harmonie-Gesang, den die Formation aus dem Ruhrgebiet so virtuos beherrscht. Zuletzt war von der Band Ende 2021 die Single \u201eTraurige Gesichter<\/a>\u201c erschienen, ein Cover des gleichnamigen Songs von Maurice & Die Familie Summen.<\/p>\n

Die Infos zum neuen Album sind allerdings derzeit noch sp\u00e4rlich ges\u00e4t. Die Band selbst wei\u00df aber schon mit einigem Augenzwinkern Lust auf den Longplayer zu machen: \u201eEs sind sehr gute Melodien darauf, ordentliche Harmonien und vision\u00e4re Lyrics\u201c, hei\u00dft es in einem Statement des Duos<\/a>. \u201eWir finden, es ist ein sehr besonderes Album geworden und wir sind irgendwie ziemlich stolz darauf.\u201c<\/p>\n

Die Deb\u00fct-LP \u201eNenn mich Musik\u201c von The D\u00fcsseldorf D\u00fcsterboys war im Oktober 2019 Album der Woche bei ByteFM<\/a>. In der Zwischenzeit hat das Duo mit dem Band-Projekt International Music (gemeinsam mit Joel Roters) die Platte \u201eEntentraum<\/a>\u201c herausgebracht, die im vergangenen Jahr ebenfalls Album der Woche bei ByteFM war.<\/p>\n
