Er ist nicht nur S\u00e4nger, Gitarrist und Liedtexter der Band, sondern mischt auch verschiedentlich bei H\u00f6rb\u00fcchern und Soundtracks mit. Daneben hat er 2013 seinen Deb\u00fctroman \u201eEs interessiert mich nicht, aber das kann ich nicht beweisen\u201c ver\u00f6ffentlicht. Allen anderweitigen Umtrieben zum Trotz sind Die Sterne die Konstante in Spilkers kreativem Leben: mit \u201e<a href=\"https:\/\/www.byte.fm\/blog\/alben-der-woche\/die-sterne-hallo-euphoria-album-der-woche-126110\/\">Hallo Euphoria<\/a>\u201c ist am 16. September 2022 das 13. Album der Formation erschienen, in der Spilker aktuell mit Jan Philipp Janzen und Phillip Tielsch (beide Von Spar und Urlaub in Polen), Dyan Vald\u00e9s (Mexican Radio, The Blood Arm) und dem Arrangeur und Gitarristen Max Knoth musiziert. <\/p>\n<p>Am 15. August 2022 war Frank Spilker <a href=\"https:\/\/www.byte.fm\/sendungen\/bytefm-magazin\/2022-08-15\/14\/frank-spilker-die-sterne-zu-gast\/\">im ByteFM Magazin<\/a> mit Vanessa Wohlrath zu Gast und hat mit der Moderatorin \u00fcber sein Schaffen und die neue Platte gesprochen. Nach dem Besuch im Magazin hat er sich noch Zeit f\u00fcr ein kleines Interview genommen. Darin hat er unter anderem erkl\u00e4rt, wie er seine Band nach \u00fcber 30 Jahren Geschichte sieht, wie er seine Rolle definiert und warum ihn das Image als intellektuelle Band st\u00f6rt.
