Ein Cover-Album, um genau zu sein, mit dem naheliegenden Titel \u201eCovers Vol. 1\u201c. Wie ihre vorigen Longplayer \u201eAugust\u201c (2019) und \u201eGeist\u201c (2021) erscheint \u201eCovers Vol. 1\u201c bei Sub Pop Records.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Komplizierte Nachdenklichkeit<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>\u201eWenn ich f\u00fcr jede Minute, die ich mit Elliott Smith verbracht habe, einen Nickel bekommen w\u00fcrde, w\u00e4re ich eine sehr reiche Frau. Seine komplizierte Nachdenklichkeit erf\u00fcllt mich immer wieder\u201c, so Lay zur neuen Single. \u201e\u201aAngeles\u2018 war einer dieser Songs, bei denen ich mich immer ziemlich eingesch\u00fcchtert f\u00fchlte, aber als ich es endlich versuchte, f\u00fcgte es sich so nat\u00fcrlich zusammen. Dann kr\u00f6nte Debbie Neigher die Sache mit einem erstaunlichen Piano-Outro.
