Nach \u00fcber zehn Jahren mit neuem Album am Start: Bush Tetras (Foto: David Godlis)<\/h6>\n

Die New Yorker Post-Punk-Band Bush Tetras hat mit \u201eThey Live In My Head\u201c ihr erstes neues Album seit \u00fcber zehn Jahren angek\u00fcndigt. Produziert wurde die Platte von Steve Shelley (Sonic Youth), der auf dem Album auch Schlagzeug spielt. Als ersten Vorgeschmack gibt es die neue Single \u201eThings I Put Together\u201c zu h\u00f6ren.<\/p>\n

Die Arbeit an der Platte hatte die Gruppe vor einigen Jahren begonnen, rund um den Erscheinungstermin von \u201eRhythm And Paranoia: The Best Of Bush Tetras\u201c (2021). In jenen Zeitraum fiel auch der Tod des urspr\u00fcnglichen Schlagzeugers<\/a> der Band, Dee Pop.<\/p>\n

Seltsame kleine Dinge<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\u201eWir gingen in den Proberaum und die Dinge passten einfach zusammen\u201c, so Gitarristin Pat Place \u00fcber den Entstehungsprozess. Demnach glich die Arbeit am Album einem intuitiven, nat\u00fcrlichen Flow zwischen den Mitgliedern: \u201eWir haben einfach angefangen zu spielen und das n\u00e4chste Ding passierte und wir wussten, wo wir es hinbringen m\u00fcssen.\u201c Man habe dabei viel \u00fcber das Leben in NYC im Jahr 1979 nachgedacht, so Bush-Tetras-S\u00e4ngerin Cynthia Sley. Das Album sei \u201eein Spiegelbild unseres gemeinsamen Aufwachsens, was wir gegessen haben, was wir getan haben, seltsame kleine Dinge, die die Leute wahrscheinlich nicht verstehen werden. Aber das ist in Ordnung.\u201c<\/p>\n
