Aidan Moffat und Malcolm Middleton aka Arab Strap haben ein neues Album namens \u201eI’m Totally Fine With It Don’t Give A Fuck Anymore\u201c angek\u00fcndigt. Ein kurioser Titel, der auf einer Messenger-Nachricht des Live-Schlagzeugers der Band basiert \u2013 und als solche auch auf dem Plattencover abgebildet ist. Das Album wird der Nachfolger des 2021er Comeback-Albums \u201eAs Days Get Dark<\/a>\u201c und enth\u00e4lt zw\u00f6lf neue Songs, von denen mit \u201eBliss\u201c der erste nun zu h\u00f6ren ist.<\/p>\n

Thematisch hat sich das schottische Duo dabei einer Mischung aus Dauerbrennern und brandaktuellen hot topics<\/em> zugewandt. So gibt es unter anderem Songs \u00fcber Trennungen, Verschw\u00f6rungserz\u00e4hlungen, Internetsucht und die in unserem Zeitalter der Vernetzung abgeh\u00e4ngten und vergessenen Menschen. Es sei ein Album voll \u201estiller Wut\u201c geworden, wie Moffat erkl\u00e4rt. Die neue Single \u201eBliss\u201c dreht sich etwa um die misogyn-toxische Online-Welt, mit der sich Frauen t\u00e4glich herumschlagen m\u00fcssen. \u201eEs geht darum, dass Frauen online terrorisiert werden; es geht um Feigheit und Bigotterie.
