Kamasi Washington hat ein neues Album mit dem Titel \u201eFearless Movement\u201c angek\u00fcndigt, den Nachfolger zu seinem 2018er Longplayer \u201eHeaven And Earth<\/a>\u201c. F\u00fcr die Platte hat sich der US-amerikanische Jazz-Musiker unter anderem Andr\u00e9 3000, Thundercat, George Clinton, Terrace Martin und BJ The Chicago Kid ins Boot geholt. Das Album enth\u00e4lt zw\u00f6lf neue St\u00fccke, von denen mit \u201ePrologue\u201c das erste nun als Musikvideo erschienen ist. <\/p>\n

\u201eFearless Movement\u201c sei eine Art Tanzalbum, wie Washington zu verstehen gibt. Allerdings nicht im buchst\u00e4blichen Sinne. \u201eTanz ist Bewegung und Ausdruck, und in gewisser Weise ist es dasselbe wie Musik \u2013 den Geist durch den K\u00f6rper zum Ausdruck zu bringen. Das ist es, was dieses Album vorantreibt.\u201c Zudem habe ihn die Erfahrung der Vaterschaft inspiriert und seinen Blick ver\u00e4ndert, der sich mehr auf allt\u00e4gliche Dinge richtet. \u201eVater zu sein bedeutet, dass sich pl\u00f6tzlich der Horizont seines Lebens zeigt\u201c, so der Musiker. \u201eMeine Sterblichkeit wurde mir klarer, aber auch meine Unsterblichkeit \u2013 die Erkenntnis, dass meine Tochter weiterleben und Dinge sehen wird, die ich nie sehen werde. Ich musste mich damit anfreunden, und das wirkte sich auf die Musik aus, die ich machte.\u201c<\/p>\n
