Oft klangen ihre fr\u00fchen Beats sehr britisch, also nach Grime, mit leichtem Trap-Einschlag. Noch forscher und selbstbewusster klang sie ein Jahr sp\u00e4ter. So deutete ihr Flow nicht mehr blo\u00df auf enormes Talent hin, sondern Cristale sa\u00df sicher im Sattel und etablierte sich als feste Gr\u00f6\u00dfe im UK-Rap-Zirkus. Auch die UK-Drill-Beats, die sie w\u00e4hlte, klangen mittlerweile ma\u00dfgeschneidert und cutting edge. Banger aus dieser Zeit wie \u201eMorgan\u201c und \u201e<a href=\"https:\/\/www.byte.fm\/blog\/tracks-des-tages\/merryland-uk-drill-cristale-117584\/\">Merryland<\/a>\u201c versammelte die MC im Jahr 2022 auf ihrer ersten EP \u201e<a href=\"https:\/\/grmdaily.com\/cristale-interview\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">What It&#8217;s Like To Be Young<\/a>\u201c. Es folgten zahlreiche Singles und Kooperationen unter anderem mit der Jungle-Produzentin Nia Archives und der Drill-Rapperin TeeZandos. Auch in dem Science-Fiction-Film \u201eThe Kitchen\u201c war sie an der Seite eines gro\u00dfen UK-Rappers, Kano n\u00e4mlich, zu sehen.<\/p>\n<p>Danach trat Cristale k\u00fcrzer. Nach einer Handvoll Singles im Jahr 2023 ver\u00f6ffentlichte sie im Jahr darauf nur ein einziges St\u00fcck. In \u201eWill You Ever?\u201c gab sie sich ungewohnt introspektiv illustrierte das auch musikalisch, ganz ohne Beat. Auf der aktuellen Single schl\u00e4gt Cristale den n\u00e4chsten Haken: Der Song knallt wieder. Aber 2025 hat die Rapperin ihre Grime&#8211; und Drill-Gew\u00e4nder abgestreift. Stattdessen swingen Boombap-Beats, wie sie um die Jahrtausendwende, als Cristale geboren wurde, eher aus den USA denn aus Gro\u00dfbritannien kamen. Als \u201eeine der befreiendsten Erfahrungen\u201c ihres Lebens beschreibt sie die Zusammenarbeit Toddla T als Producer. \u201eAls wir anfingen, brachte er mir bei, was Koproduktion ist und zeigte mir M\u00f6glichkeiten, mich gestalterisch einzubringen, damit sich der Song so voll wie m\u00f6glich anf\u00fchlt.\u201c Das Ergebnis beschreibt sie als \u201eWohlf\u00fchlsong, der genau das tut, was auf der Verpackung steht: Er gibt Dir das Gef\u00fchl, startklar zu sein und Dich der Welt zu stellen.
