Im letzten Monat haben wir im Rahmen unserer Monatskartenaktion zur Compilation „Milky Disco“ den ersten Teil eines Interviews mit Jon Tye gepostet. Heute gibt es den zweiten Teil. Anlass ist der exklusive \u201eExploring The Galaxy\u201c Mix , den Jon Tye f\u00fcr ByteFM erstellt hat. Eine wahrhaft galaktische Reise durch das musikalische Weltall zwischen Krautrock-Universen, Ambient Nebeln und Cosmic Disco Sonnen, der heute Nacht (24. \/ 25.09.) um 01:00 Uhr nochmal l\u00e4uft.<\/p>\n

Was sind ihre aktuellen Projekte als Musiker und Produzent, sprich: welche Aliasse von Ihnen sind momentan \u201eaktiv\u201c?<\/strong>
\nIn letzter Zeit hab ich mich vor allem auf das Seahawks Projekt konzentriert, das ist ein relativ neues Abenteuer mit meinem Freund Pete Fowler. Da ist gro\u00dfartig, dass wir ein wirklich gro\u00dfes Spektrum an Sounds erforschen k\u00f6nnen, wie Disco, Yacht Rock, abstrakte Elektronik, Shoegaze. Alles was wir wollen, aber es hat immer unseren charakteristischen ozeanischen Sound. Und wir k\u00f6nnen diesen Sound auch visuell definieren, mit Design und Projektionen. Wir versuchen eine andere Welt zu erschaffen. Das The Brain Machine Projekt mit Guido Zen ist auch aktiv, wir sind fast fertig mit einem neuen Album und ein Remix Album ist gerade schon fertig geworden. Das ist auch wieder Forschung, aber mit h\u00e4rteren, elektronischeren Kanten.<\/p>\n

Was steht im Lo Imperium an?<\/strong>
\nViele Dinge. Es gibt es neues Hatchback Album, das kurz vor der Ver\u00f6ffentlichung steht, ein pr\u00e4chtiges New Age Werk namens \u201eZeus & Apollo\u201c. Es entsteht gerade ein neues Black Devil Album mit Vocals von Nancy Sinatra, Jon Spencer und Faris von den Horrors. Neue Musik von Yokota, Seeland und Gable. Und wie immer ein paar \u00dcberraschungen,.<\/p>\n

Welche Radiosender (oder Webradios) h\u00f6ren Sie?<\/strong>
\nIch h\u00f6re meistens BBC Radio 3, ich bin gro\u00dfer Klasssikfan und das ist das Einzige, was mein Hirn morgens nicht zu sehr in die Pfanne haut.
