Unser Track des Tages \u201eRun Into Love\u201c k\u00f6nnte ein versch\u00fctteter tanzfl\u00e4chenf\u00fcllender Deep-Cut aus der zweiten H\u00e4lfte der 1970er-Jahre sein. Zum Beispiel ein St\u00fcck, das durch die H\u00e4nde des US-amerikanischen DJs und Produzenten Jim Burgess gegangen ist. Tats\u00e4chlich aber ist der Song aus dem Herbst 2025 und kommt aus den Niederlanden. Auf den Namen Another Taste h\u00f6rt die Band aus Rotterdam, was absichtlicher- oder zuf\u00e4lligerweise auch der Titel eines Albums<\/a> von A Taste Of Honey war. Dieses erschien 1979, gegen Ende der Disco-\u00c4ra, konnte den Erfolg des Vorg\u00e4ngers mit dem Ewigkeits-Hit \u201eBoogie Oogie Oogie\u201c nicht wiederholen, was aber nicht an kreativer Erm\u00fcdung lag.<\/p>\n

Es ist unwahrscheinlich, dass die Disco-Heads von Another Taste das Album nicht zumindest kennen. Es entspricht sogar ganz dem Vibe, der die Ver\u00f6ffentlichungen der Band seit 2019 pr\u00e4gt. Denn die Musik ist funky, ohne Zweifel knietief in der Disco-\u00c4ra verwurzelt, aber deshalb auch so tief, dass ihr die offensichtlichsten h\u00e4ufig geh\u00f6rten Vorbilder zu langweilig w\u00e4ren. Boogie, 70er-Funk, Disco-Obskurika, eine Ode an Burgess \u2013 davon sei sie alles und nichts, sagt die Band. Sondern eher das Resultat des Aufeinandertreffens all dieser Elemente. 2024 ver\u00f6ffentlichten Another Taste ihren ersten Longplayer, dem 2026 das n\u00e4chste, noch unbetitelte Album folgt. Unser Track des Tages ist der vielversprechende erste Vorbote mit Boogie-Beat, Chorgesang und Ohrwurm-Hookline.<\/p>\n
