Unser Track des Tages \u201eAngel\u201c ist eine neue Single des US-amerikanischen Elektropop-Acts Hyd. Das ist das Projekt von Hayden Dunham, New Yorker S\u00e4nger*in und Songwriter*in. Zwar ist Dunham schon seit einer ganzen Weile musikalisch aktiv, aber immer wieder mit Unterbrechungen. So formierte Dunham 2014 mit A. G. Cook und Sophie das Projekt QT, einen der fr\u00fchen Acts des britischen Hyperpop-Kollektivs PC Music. Nach zwei QT-Jahren nahm sich Dunham eine Auszeit, um sich erfolgreich der Kunst zu widmen. 2021 kehrte Dunham als Hyd zur\u00fcck, arbeitete wieder mit Cook und Sophie, aber auch Caroline Polachek produzierte einen Song des 2022er Deb\u00fctalbums \u201eClearing\u201c<\/a>. Danach wurde es wieder still um Hyd. Schon das erste Album war durch den Tod<\/a> von Dunhams Partnerin Sophie \u00fcberschattet. Nun er\u00f6ffnet eine Ode an die 2021 gestorbene schottische Musikerin das vorwiegend auf Island entstandene Album \u201eHold Onto Me Infinity\u201c. Mit Hudson Mohawke setzte Hyd ihr ein strahlendes Denkmal f\u00fcr Radio und Dancefloor.<\/p>\n
