In der taz<\/a> portr\u00e4tiert Nina Apini das \u00f6sterreichische Quetschkommoden-Duo Attwenger. Seit 20 Jahren machen Hans-Peter Falkner und Markus Binder nun Musik. Ihre Konzerte sind gut gef\u00fcllt, schreibt die taz, \u201eHipsterm\u00e4dchen tanzen neben Freaks mit Kuhfellwesten\u201c zu Maultrommelsoli und \u201eHarmonika-Explosionen\u201c.<\/p>\n

Pearl Jam haben den diesj\u00e4hrigen \u201eDefender Award\u201c gewonnen, vermeldet das amerikanische Spinner-Magazine<\/a>. Bei der Auszeichnung handelt es sich um einen Umweltpreis der Non-Profit-Organisation Rock The Earth, den die Band f\u00fcr ihr \u00f6kologisches Engagement erhielt. Pearl Jam wurden sozusagen f\u00fcr ihr Lebenswerk geehrt, denn die Band strebt absolute CO2-Neutralit\u00e4t an, f\u00fcr alle Bandtourneen und sonstige Bandaktivit\u00e4ten der letzten 20 Jahre. Im vergangenen Jahr etwa lie\u00dfen Pearl Jam f\u00fcr 210.000 Dollar B\u00e4ume pflanzen, um die Umweltbelastungen ihrer Backspacer Tour wieder gut zu machen.<\/p>\n
