J Dilla<\/a>, mit b\u00fcrgerlichem Namen James Dewitt Yancey, war einer der bedeutensten HipHop-Musiker und -Produzenten seiner Zeit. Er war Mitglied bei Slum Village und 1st Down, fusionierte mit Madlib zum Projekt Jaylib, widmete sich auch Soloprojekten als Jay Dee\/J Dilla und ver\u00f6ffentlichte zahlreiche Instrumental\/Beat Tapes. Als Produzent war er, um nur einige zu nennen, f\u00fcr A Tribe Called Quest<\/a>, Busta Rhymes, Erykah Badu<\/a>, The Pharcyde<\/a> und De La Soul t\u00e4tig.<\/p>\n

Nur drei Tage nach \u00adseinem 32. Geburtstag und der Ver\u00f6ffentlichung seines letzten Albums „Donuts“ starb Yancey an den Folgen der Autoimmunerkrankung Lupus. Seinem \u00adumfangreichen Schaffen widmeten sich in den Jahren seit seinem Tod unz\u00e4hlige Geschichten und \u00adAnthologien.<\/p>\n

„Welcome To Dillaville – A Tribute To J Dilla“ holt nun sein Leben zur\u00fcck auf die B\u00fchne und ehrt Yancey, gemeinsam mit vielen seiner Weggef\u00e4hrten, daf\u00fcr, dass er den HipHop auf seine Art und Weise revolutionierte. Bei der Tribute-Show sorgen Slum Village<\/a>, Guilty Simpson<\/a>, Frank N Dank, Illa J, Slimkid3 und Cee Brown f\u00fcr ein einzigartiges Live-Programm.<\/p>\n

Die mehrst\u00fcndige Show fasst Yenceys Leben auf einer Videoleinwand in Bildern und Clips zusammen, w\u00e4hrend die beteiligten K\u00fcnstler und Weggef\u00e4hrten seine Songproduktionen live auf der B\u00fchne pr\u00e4sentieren. Dar\u00fcber hinaus wird die 2011 ver\u00f6ffentlichte J-Dilla-Doku „Still Shining“ vorgestellt und durch seinen Bruder Illa J mit kurzen Anekdoten und realen Geschichten begleitet.<\/p>\n
