Gl\u00fccklicherweise keine wahre Geschichte – der Titel wurde von einer Simpsons-Folge inspiriert, in der vom fiktiven Film „Let’s Save Tony Orlando’s House“ die Rede ist.<\/p>\n

Tony Orlando ist ein US-amerikanischer Entertainer, Moderator und Musiker, der seine besten Tage hinter sich hat und immer noch regelm\u00e4\u00dfig durch Clubs und durch’s Fernsehen in den Staaten tingelt. Orlando, der am 3. April 1944 als Michael Anthony Orlando Cassavitis in New York City geboren wurde, hatte bereits eine feste Stelle im Verlag von Columbia Records ehe er eine Musikerkarriere einschlug. Unter dem Namen Tony Orlando & The Dawn nahm er Anfang der 70er den Song „Knock Three Times“<\/a> auf, der auf Platz 1 der Charts landete. Weitere Hits wie „Tie a Yellow Ribbon ‚Round the Ole Oak Tree“<\/a> folgten.<\/p>\n

Zusammen mit seinen S\u00e4ngerinnen moderierte Tony Orlando Mitte der 70er eine Comedy-Show beim Sender CBS – das bescherte der Band eine langanhaltende Popularit\u00e4t. Auch als Schauspieler ist Orlando aktiv.
