Mit dieser Aufforderung k\u00fcndigt DJ Vadim auf Facebook das Erscheinen seines neuen Albums „Dubcatcher“ an. Dass sich in diesem einen Satz gleich zwei Rechtschreibfehler finden, macht zwei Aspekte besonders deutlich: DJ Vadim ist kein Meister gro\u00dfer Worte und l\u00e4sst stattdessen lieber die Musik f\u00fcr sich sprechen. Zum anderen ist der Musiker, Produzent und DJ wohl einer der am h\u00e4rtesten arbeitenden Menschen im Musikgesch\u00e4ft und hetzt von einem Projekt ins n\u00e4chste. Zeit ist rar im Universum von Vadim Peare. Und das nun schon seit 20 Jahren. Sch\u00e4tzungsweise absolvierte DJ Vadim in dieser Zeit rund 2500 Auftritte in mehr als 68 L\u00e4ndern.<\/p>\n

Diese Rastlosigkeit und der Drang zum Reisen wird DJ Vadim in die Wiege gelegt. Geboren ist er im damaligen Leningrad, aufgewachsen in London und inzwischen wohnhaft in Berlin und dem Schmelztiegel New York City. „Well travelling opens your mind to possibilities and ideas. I think everyone should have to travel. In fact I think the world would be a better place if we did, because then we could all have a better understanding of our own life and our own society“, so DJ Vadim in einem Interview mit dem Online-Magazin Vibe Rated<\/a>. Durch sein unerm\u00fcdliches Reisen trifft er auf kreative Kollegen und arbeitet in der Folge mit K\u00fcnstlern wie Stevie Wonder, Prince, The Roots und Kraftwerk. Analog zur Bandbreite der verschiedenen Kulturen und Pers\u00f6nlichkeiten, mit denen Vadim in Kontakt kommt, ist die Vielfalt an unterschiedlichen Genres in seiner Musik: HipHop, TripHop, Soul, Dub, Jungle, Electronica und Reggae \u2013 der vielseitige „Daddy Vad“ kennt offensichtlich keine musikalischen Schranken. Umso bemerkenswerter die Tatsache, dass er sich auf „Dubcatcher“ haupts\u00e4chlich dem Dancehall-Reggae hingibt. Im Vergleich zu seinem letzten Album „Don\u2019t Be Scared“ von 2012 ist „Dubcatcher“ weniger Mischmasch und Experiment, daf\u00fcr mehr Lebensfreude und der vielleicht stimmungsvollste Soundtrack f\u00fcr diesen Sommer.<\/p>\n
