Oktober 1954 in Los Angeles geboren wurde, lernte in der High School Louie Per\u00e9z kennen. Die beiden stellten erstaunt fest, dass sie auf die gleichen Bands und Musiker standen, zum Beispiel auf Fairport Convention, Randy Newman und Ry Cooder. Es dauerte nicht lang, da hatten sie eine Band gegr\u00fcndet. David Hidalgo spielte Gitarre und sang und Louie Per\u00e9z setzte sich hinter&#8217;s Schlagzeug. 1973 wurden Cesar Rosas und Conrad Lozano dazugeholt und Los Lobos waren geboren.<\/p>\n<p>Zuerst spielten Los Lobos lediglich Cover bekannter Songs. Sie wurden gern f\u00fcr Geburtstage und Hochzeiten gebucht. Das langweilte die Band mit der Zeit und sie entwickelten ihren Stil weiter. Tex Mex-Musik, die sie in ihrer Kindheit geh\u00f6rt hatten, und Rock, wie er in den 70ern in Los Angeles popul\u00e4r war, floss in ihre Musik ein. Und David Hidalgo begann, eigene Lieder f\u00fcr die Band zu schreiben. Die meisten Los Lobos-St\u00fccke stammen aus seiner Feder.<\/p>\n<p>Im Jahr 1989 gewannen Los Lobos einen Grammy f\u00fcr ihr siebtes Album &#8222;La Pistola y El Coraz\u00f3n&#8220;. Und zuvor hatte sich schon einiges f\u00fcr die Gruppe getan. Sie tourten auch au\u00dferhalb der Staaten und traten im Vorprogramm von U2 und Bob Dylan auf. Auch 2014 sind Los Lobos noch auf der B\u00fchne zu sehen.
