Na ja, nicht wirklich die Musik selbst, sondern eher die Rezeption. Denn sp\u00e4testens mit ihrem dritten Studioalbum &#8222;The Fat Of The Land&#8220; von 1997 schlugen sie die Br\u00fccke zwischen Rock\u00a0\u2019n\u2019\u00a0Roll und der K\u00f6rperlichkeit von Techno. Mit den wirren Breakbeats und sloganhaften Raps sprachen The Prodigy auch diejenigen an, denen Punk irgendwann zu m\u00e4nnlich und zu unsexy war, die aber auch nichts mit dem Gute-Laune-Techno der 90er anfangen konnten. Dass ihr neues Album nach sechs Jahren nicht ohne gehobenen Mittelfinger erscheint, passt gut zum rebellischen Image.<\/p>\n<p>Dem Keyboarder Liam Howlett zufolge sei &#8222;The Day Is My Enemy&#8220; aus &#8222;purer aggressiver Energie&#8220; entstanden und soll auch ein \u00e4sthetischer Gegenentwurf zur f\u00fcr ihn immer gleichf\u00f6rmiger werdenden Clubmusik sein. In einem Interview mit der britischen Tageszeitung &#8222;The Guardian&#8220; \u00e4u\u00dferte Howlett zudem, dass Musik f\u00fcr ihn schon immer eine Art Angriff war. Die neuen Tracks w\u00fcrden vor allem &#8211; und das sei typisch f\u00fcr die Band, ein Gef\u00fchl der Gefahr vermitteln. Das Album wird am 27.
