Van Morrison zum Beispiel coverte ein St\u00fcck, das zuerst von Bland aufgenommen worden ist, mit seiner Band Them, &#8222;Ain&#8217;t Nothing You Can Do&#8220;. Und er engagierte ihn auch als Gasts\u00e4nger.<\/p>\n<p>Geboren wurde Bobby Bland am 27. Januar 1930 in Tennessee, er wuchs in Memphis auf, besuchte jedoch nie eine Schule und blieb deswegen sein Leben lang Analphabet. Das wurde von manchen Personen in der Musikbranche ausgenutzt, Bland unterschrieb Vertr\u00e4ge zu schlechten Konditionen.<\/p>\n<p>Nichtsdestotrotz konnte der S\u00e4nger im R&#8217;n&#8217;B Fu\u00df fassen. 1957 hatte er seinen ersten Hit mit &#8222;Farther Up The Road&#8220;. In den 60ern folgten viele Singles, die in den Top 10 der US-R&#8217;n&#8217;B-Charts landeten, darunter &#8222;That&#8217;s The Way Love Is&#8220; und &#8222;Ain&#8217;t No Love In The Heart Of The City&#8220; &#8211; ein St\u00fcck, an dem sich Kanye West und Jay-Z bedient haben. Der von West produzierte Jay-Z-Track &#8222;Heart of the City (Ain&#8217;t No Love)&#8220; basiert auf Samples davon.<\/p>\n<p>Bobby Bland stand noch lange auf der B\u00fchne, tourte in den 80er Jahren zum Beispiel mit B. B. King. Er starb am 23.
