Das Quartett aus Manchester mag optisch wie eine Siouxsie-And-The-Banshees-Tribute-Band aussehen, versteckt dabei jedoch unter der schwarzen Fassade kristallklare Stadion-Hymnen.<\/p>\n<p>Im Interview mit dem Magazin NME definierte S\u00e4ngerin Heather Baron-Gracie ganz klar die hochgesteckten Ziele der Band: \u201eWir wollen ein Nummer-Eins-Album haben. Wir denken, wir k\u00f6nnen das.\u201c Der Plan k\u00f6nnte aufgehen: Pale Waves sorgten im Jahr 2017 bereits mit vier vielgeklickten Musikvideos f\u00fcr Furore. Entdeckt wurden sie von den ebenfalls aus Manchester stammenden Indie-Pop-Gr\u00f6\u00dfen The 1975, die auch ihre erste Single \u201eThere\u2018s A Honey\u201c produzierten.<br \/>\nAm 24. Januar erschien ihr Deb\u00fct-EP \u201eNew Year\u2018s Eve\u201c auf Dirty Hit Records. Auch live verl\u00e4sst sich die Band auf ihre ungew\u00f6hnliche Mischung aus Pop-Hooks und Gothic-Looks. Als h\u00e4tte Charli XCX eine neue Leidenschaft f\u00fcr The Cure entdeckt.<\/p>\n<p>Am 16. Februar sind Pale Waves im Rahmen der Jever Live Kiezkonzerte zu Gast im Hamburger H\u00e4kken.<\/p>\n<p>Das \u201eJever Live Kiezkonzert \u2013 pr\u00e4sentiert von ByteFM im H\u00e4kken\u201c bietet internationalen Newcomer-Acts vor \u201ekleinem Publikum\u201c eine B\u00fchne.
