The Thermals sind tot, lang lebe Roseblood: Kathy Foster<\/h6>\n

Keine zwei Wochen nach der offiziellen Aufl\u00f6sung<\/a> ihrer Band The Thermals hat Bassistin Kathy Foster ein neues Solo-Projekt enth\u00fcllt. Roseblood ist der Name, unter dem die K\u00fcnstlerin aus Portland von nun an Musik machen wird. Dass dieses neue Projekt durchaus das Potential hat, \u00fcber das Ende ihrer beliebten Power-Pop- und Punk-Band hinweg zu tr\u00f6sten, beweist ihre erste Single \u201eBlack Veil\u201c. <\/p>\n

W\u00e4hrend bei The Thermals der \u00fcberwiegende Gro\u00dfteil der Songs vom Frontmann Hutch Harris geschrieben und performt wurde, hat bei diesem Projekt Foster alle F\u00e4den in der Hand: Jeder Ton von \u201eBlack Veil\u201c wurde von ihr erdacht und gespielt. Der Song kommt im schleppenden Midtempo daher, mit staubtrockenen E-Gitarren und melancholischen Girl-Group-Harmonien. Als h\u00e4tte Phil Spector PJ Harvey<\/a> produziert. <\/p>\n
