Das Talent wurde der geb\u00fcrtigen Kanadierin quasi in die Wiege gelegt: Parks wurde in eine MusikerInnen-Familie hineingeboren \u2013 und so \u00fcberrascht es nicht, dass sie schon fr\u00fch eigene Songs schrieb und bereits im Alter von 17 Jahren einige Aufmerksamkeit auf sich zog.<\/p>\n<p>Wenige Jahre sp\u00e4ter lernte Parks in Berlin Anton Newcombe kennen. Das The-Brian-Jonestown-Massacre-Mastermind war von ihrer Stimme sofort angetan. Dass die Musik der beiden hervorragend zusammenpasst, beweisen ihre beiden gemeinsamen d\u00fcsteren Folk-Alben. \u00dcberraschender, wenn man Tess Parks&#8216; Musik kennt, ist ein anderes wichtiges Idol von ihr: Im ByteFM Magazin gestand sie, dass sie bekennender Oasis-Fan ist.
