Wenn Ihr heute nur einen Song h\u00f6rt, dann diesen: Egal ob brandneu, historisch relevant oder einfach toll. Mit unserem Track des Tages<\/a> stellen wir Euch t\u00e4glich einen h\u00f6renswerten Song vor.<\/em><\/p>\n

Chastity Belt sind vier Frauen, die von einem Ort namens Walla Walla nach Seattle zogen. Und da geh\u00f6ren sie auch hin, denn ganz offensichtlich haben sie ein Herz f\u00fcr angezerrte Gitarren, wie sie Anfang der 90er-Jahre die Stadt regierten und nie so richtig verschwanden. Jedoch ohne das ganze Gebr\u00fcll. Das w\u00e4re bei einer Stimme wie der von Julia Shapiro auch Verschwendung. Die hatte wegen Post-Tour-Depressionen eine Auszeit genommen und eine Soloplatte gemacht, die erst vor Kurzem Album der Woche<\/a> bei ByteFM war. Und jetzt scheint es mit der Auszeit schon wieder aus zu sein: Chastity Belt sind zur\u00fcck. Sie gehen es langsam an, man k\u00f6nnte an Emocore der mittleren 90er denken. Oder an Stereolab ohne Sythesizer. Oder an gar nichts und einfach zuh\u00f6ren.<\/p>\n

Ein selbstbetiteltes neues Album von Chastity Belt erscheint am 20. September bei Hardly Art. Im Herbst ist die Band au\u00dferdem auf Tour in Deutschland, pr\u00e4sentiert von ByteFM:<\/p>\n
