Mit unserem <a href=\"https:\/\/www.byte.fm\/blog\/tracks-des-tages\/\">Track des Tages<\/a> stellen wir Euch t\u00e4glich einen h\u00f6renswerten Song vor.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In Kinshasa gibt es eine rege DIY-Szene \u2013 Instrumente aus Elektro- und anderen Abf\u00e4llen zu bauen, ist in einem der \u00e4rmsten L\u00e4nder der Welt oft Voraussetzung daf\u00fcr, Musik machen zu k\u00f6nnen. Ein Dokumentarfilm brachte die lokale Band Kokoko! mit dem franz\u00f6sischen Producer D\u00e9bruit zusammen, der begann, elektronische Beats und Synthesizer in den Bandsound einzubinden. Techno und HipHop sind ohnehin wichtige Einfl\u00fcsse kongolesischer Bands, nur fehlen hierf\u00fcr oft die Produktionsmittel, weshalb Gruppen wie Konono No. 1 Wege gefunden haben, Sounds mit anderen Mitteln zu emulieren und im Zweifel spannender zu klingen als das, was in europ\u00e4ischen Heimstudios so gebastelt wird. Der Weg, den Kokoko! beschreiten, ist kein Kompromiss, sondern die aktuell vielleicht zwingendste Tanzmusik mit gerader Bassdrum.<\/p>\n<p>Das Album \u201eFongola\u201c von Kokoko! erschien am 5.
