D\u00fcstere Synths, langsame Breakbeats \u2013 das klingt eher nach urbaner Dystopie. Aber vielleicht ist es gar nicht so seltsam, wenn die in Berlin ans\u00e4ssige britische Produzentin Sasha Perera ihre Musik als \u201eDoom-Folk\u201c bezeichnet. Denn als gemeinsamer Nenner der Bev\u00f6lkerung unterschiedlichster Herkunft ist HipHop so etwas wie die traditionelle Musik der Gro\u00dfstadt. Perera Elsewhere klingt bei ihrer Interpretation von HipHop manchmal, als wolle sie hervorkehren, was unter dem Beton brodelt, was den Hochh\u00e4usern in den Knochen steckt. Wenn die Hallfahnen durch die sp\u00e4rlichen Beats wehen wie der Herbstwind durch die brutalistische Trabantenstadt, dann ist das am Ende die Kehrseite urbaner Folklore.
