\u201eSmash My Head\u201c ist ein neues Lebenszeichen von Sierra und Bianca Casady alias CocoRosie. Vier Jahre nach ihrem letzten Album \u201eHeartache City\u201c melden sich die in Paris ans\u00e4ssigen US-amerikanischen Schwestern nun mit einem Song zur\u00fcck, dem Anfang 2020 ein Album folgen wird. Das siebte der Bandgeschichte. Und noch immer ist bei CocoRosie vieles kaputt. Inhaltlich. K\u00fcnstlerisch ist das naturgem\u00e4\u00df pr\u00e4zise auf den Punkt gebracht. In einer Perfektion des Kaputten. Zuletzt hat das Duo mit so grundverschiedenen K\u00fcnstlerInnen wie Chance The Rapper und Anohni zusammengearbeitet. Ihr musikalisches und k\u00fcnstlerisches Spektrum ist aber eigentlich noch breiter. Wichtig auch: der visuelle Aspekt. Theater-\u00c4sthetik, Steampunk. Spiel mit Geschlechterrollenzuschreibungen.
