Es ist ein vertrauter Weg, eine R\u00fcckkehr. Bei der es sich geb\u00fchrt, erst einmal dem Herz und Motor des Raps Tribut zu zollen: der Trommel. So zu h\u00f6ren auf \u201eBaeng\u201c, dem Opener von \u201eTodesverachtung To Go\u201c, dem Comeback-Album von Kinderzimmer Productions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eWarum wir zu Beats nicken \/ geh\u00f6rt zu diesen Fragen unserer Art \/ uneingeschr\u00e4nkt Ja zu jedem Schlag zu sagen\u201c, ist die erste Zeile des Albums. Symptomatisch f\u00fcr die innewohnende Vehemenz und Selbstverst\u00e4ndlichkeit, mit der Henrik von Holtum alias Textor und Sascha Klammt alias Quasi Modo Rap-Musik fabrizieren. Gegr\u00fcndet 1994 in Ulm, einer Stadt, bei der man eher an Fachwerkh\u00e4user und den riesigen Kirchturm denkt als an Deutschrap-Pionierarbeit.<\/p>\n<p>Im Gegensatz zu Fettes Brot, Feature-G\u00e4ste auf dem l\u00e4ssigen \u201eEs kommt in Wellen\u201c, blieb Kinderzimmer Productions der anhaltende kommerzielle Erfolg jedoch verwehrt. Nach der Platte \u201eAsphalt\u201c, allgemeiner Unzufriedenheit mit der deutschsprachigen Rapszene und dem Umzug von Holtums nach Berlin legte das Duo sein Projekt 2007 auf Eis.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Proseminar-Battlerap am Sample-Lagerfeuer<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Knapp zw\u00f6lf Jahre sp\u00e4ter waren ihnen Sample- und Drum-Maschinen doch zu schade, um sie im ewigen Staub ersticken zu lassen. Klammt schnallte sich wieder hinter die Decks, von Holtum begann zu assoziieren wie in den besten Proseminar-Battlerap-Cypher-Zeiten. Und das frei von musealer Nabelschau.<\/p>\n<p>In \u201eWatch Me\u201c wird \u00fcber Gentrifizierung und Hipster gel\u00e4stert, die auch vor Ulm nicht haltmachen. Mit \u201eEs gibt keine Allt\u00e4glichkeiten \/ alles ist ein Wunder\u201c nagelt von Holtum die Sensationsgesellschaft fest und spuckt ihr mit \u201eBig Data und Kaffeeklatsch \/ Klassenkampf und Rassenhass\u201c das Spannungsfeld, in dem sich der ganze Wahnsinn abspielt, direkt hinterher.<\/p>\n<p>Kinderzimmer Productions sind nach wie vor auf der Suche nach dem n\u00e4chsten stilvollen Jazz-Sample, dem besseren Wortspiel und der unwiderstehlichsten Bassline \u2013 mit zeitgem\u00e4\u00df nachgefettetem Low-end.
