Mit ihren stampfenden Four-To-The-Floor-Beats erwecken House-Tracks eher Assoziationen an gut gef\u00fcllte Dancefloors, schwitzige Ekstase oder sonnige Open-Air-Partys. Rave, Hedonismus, gute Laune. Aber es ist das Jahr 2020 und der Gedanke an vollgestopfte Tanzfl\u00e4chen oder sonstige Menschenaufl\u00e4ufe sorgt direkt f\u00fcr hygienebedingte Panikattacken. <\/p>\n<h4><strong>House f\u00fcrs Homeoffice<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Gut, dass es Yaeji gibt. House ist f\u00fcr die koreanisch-US-amerikanische Produzentin und S\u00e4ngerin, die mit b\u00fcrgerlichem Namen Kathy Yaeji Lee hei\u00dft, nach eigener Aussage eine wei\u00dfe Leinwand. Musik ohne positive oder negative Emotionen. Ihre Tracks sind warm und durchaus zum Tanz auffordern, doch ihr gehuschter, zwischen Koreanisch und Englisch wechselnder Gesang lenkt die Songs in eine introvertierte, melancholische Richtung. Dass man dazu trotzdem sehr gut Stampfen kann, beweisen ihr hochgehyptes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=4t649hEMbIA\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Boiler-Room-Set<\/a> oder Auftritte auf Gro\u00dfraumfestivals wie Coachella. Doch \u201eWhat We Drew\u201c, ihr nun erscheinendes neues Mixtape, l\u00e4dt genauso gut zum Abschweifen und Tagtr\u00e4umen ein. Kurzum: House f\u00fcrs Homeoffice. <\/p>\n<p>Mit seinen verschleppten Drums und verspielten Synthesizern erinnert der Opener \u201eMy Imagination\u201c mehr an den elektronischen Dream-Pop der fr\u00fchen The Knife als an Keller-Raves. Und auch die h\u00e4rteren Tracks wie \u201eMoney Can&#8217;t Buy\u201c ballern, ohne zu ziehen. Es ist eine fast schon zauberhafte Wechselwirkung: Die Beats und B\u00e4sse dr\u00fccken das Zwerchfell nach unten, doch der Gesang l\u00e4sst einen in die Luft aufsteigen. Lees Stimme klebt mit der Klarheit eines ASMR-Podcasts direkt am Ohr. Selbst wenn sie auf Koreanisch singt und sich die Konsonanten und Vokale nicht direkt erschlie\u00dfen, klingt diese Stimme sofort vertraut. Sie beruhigt.
