Ein hörenswerter Sampler, auf dem der hochgelobte Berliner Musiker Max Weissenfeldt einen Packen Singles auf seinem Label Philophon versammelt, inspiriert den mitunter einfallslosen Moderator zu einem cross-atlantischen Retro-Trip, der ihn bis ins Jahr 1959 zurückführt. Ghana ist überrepräsentiert, das liegt an Herrn Weissenfeldt. Auch noch vertreten: die USA, der Congo, Togo, Haiti, Südafrika, Jamaica.
