Brown Rice Goodbye Bobby - Ein Abschied von Bobby Hutcherson
Joe Chambers, Herbie Hancock, McCoy Tyner und Eric Dolphy waren seine Mitstreiter in den frühen 60er Jahren. Damals entwickelte der amerikanische Vibraphonist einen zeitlos schönen Stil: vom Bebop geprägt und melodiös. Bobby Hutcherson war ein Meister klangfarbenleuchtender und lyrischer Coolness. Am 15. August starb er im Alter von 75 Jahren in Kalifornien.
