Brown Rice Eric Dolphy is out to lunch
Eric Dolphys Karriere währte erst sechs Jahre, als er überraschend 1964 in West-Berlin verstarb. In dieser kurzen Zeit musizierte er nicht nur mit den besten Musikern seiner Ära, er setzte auch neue Maßstäbe im Spiel mit Altsaxophon, Bassklarinette und Flöte und verband das Erbe des Bebop mit der Avantgarde. Am 20. Juni wäre Eric Dolphy 90 Jahre alt geworden.
