Eine der großen weiblichen Stimmen des Soul war die von Dusty Springfield. Ihr Markenzeichen waren die blonde aufgetürmte Haarpracht und eine Stimme, die ihr den Beinamen "The White Queen of Soul" einbrachte. Gestern wäre sie 80 Jahre alt geworden und heute vor 55 Jahren - 1964 - veröffentlichte sie ihr Debüt "A Girl Called Dusty".
