Lenka Kocisova (aka Akkamiau ) is a Sound Artist and Composer, born in 1976 Czech Republic.

Audiovisual artist, experimental musician, performer, concept writer and art event manager and coordinator, resident in Berlin. In 2014, she received her PhD in Audiovisual Performance from FaVU Brno University of Technology (CZ), where she also studied Performance Art under Professor Tomas Ruller, pedagogy, multimedia and arts management. Living and traveling throughout Europe and United States collecting experiences in art and music club subculture, she has been a member and coordinator of female: pressure (festival Perspectives Berlin, DE), new media festival Multiplace, Czech it!, Anymade Studio, and Fauchmiau. She was also Art Director of projects L to the B and Zbrojovka site-specific. She has performed experimental audiovisual shows since 2006 as Akkamiau, since 2012 she creates sound compositions inspired by metaphysics for audiovisual interactive collective StratoFyzika. Recently launched an experimental techno project hiT͟Hərˈto͞o, with releases on female:pressure, Decadence recordings, SPRINGSTOFF 
and Establishment records. 


hiT͟Hərˈto͞o

The sound of the constant present. How long does the present last? There is no past, no future as we stand on the edge of an everlasting dead end. All that is left is hitherto; a hypothesis of equilibrium.

hiT͟Hərˈto͞o (phonetic transcription of hitherto) is an experimental techno project of Lenka Kocisova, known as Akkamiau. Apart her endeavor in female:pressure network, she is a founding member of multimedia art crew StratoFyzika, for which she creates spatial sound compositions inspired by metaphysics. Recently she received PhD for her work in a field of Audiovisual Performance.
