Miriam Davoudvandi aka Cashmiri ist freie Journalistin und Chefredakteurin des splash! Mag, einem Berliner HipHop-Magazin, welches gleichzeitig zum splash! Festival gehört.
Tagsüber schreibt sie über Musik und Politik, sei es eben für das splash! Mag, die Juice, das Wetter oder die taz und ist mit ihrer Kollegin Lena Grehl aktuell mit dem Vortrag "I've Got 99 Problems But Being A Feminist Listening To Rap Ain't One" unterwegs.
Nachts stellt sie ihr musikalisches Knowledge unter Beweis mit einem Mix aus Rap, R&B, Baile Funk, Jersey Club und Dancehall, welchen sie liebevoll „Ambient Twerk“ nennt. In ihren Sets versucht sie nicht nur iranische und rumänische Diaspora zu verarbeiten, sondern legt den Fokus auch auf QTIBIPoC.
