Memesh is based in Berlin and describe themselves as a new age emo. Their music selection ranges from soulful r'n'b to new interpretations of emo classics and Arabic trip-hop, blended together in such a way that a tear of happiness and nostalgia will run down our cheeks at the same time.
This mix specifically is an appreciation compilation of some beautiful Kelela edits, who Memesh finds to be one of the greatest vocalists and musicians of our time - she inspires so many other super-talented musicians to play around with her club-adjacent beats and soulful vocals.
