Labelshow Get Physical: Nakadia

Yet again we meet at the crossroads where original works get reignited and rise up to move us all over again. Reboot’s album ‘aLive’ has been making the rounds for quite some time now, and still getting refreshed. Last time it was Ricardo Villalobos remixing ‘Are you Loosing my mind’, and Kolsch’s remix of ‘Just Hang On’ before that. This time ‘Pollo al Sillao’ is up, with Brazil born and Barcelona based ANNA and Thai country girl Nakadia getting their hands dirty.

Bringing the heat first is ANNA’s remix, who throws a heavy dose of acid over the track, giving it a beautifully analogue late night techno feel. The track reminds us of the old days when acid was king, a brilliant throwback and amazing interpretation of the original. Next Nakadia takes an almost trance-tech approach, bog sounds, bog spaces and plenty of raw energy fly through the room at high speed, creating an unmistakable peak time hit. And finally, as tradition, the stunning original rounds off the package nicely.
