"Birdsongs" lautet der Titel der neuen Platte von Suff Daddy, seinem ersten Soloalbum seit vier Jahren - unser ByteFM Album der Woche.
Israel wartet mit gleich zwei neuen Acts auf: A-WA, ein Trio bestehend aus den Schwestern Tair, Iron und Tagel Haim, veröffentlicht mit "Habib Galbi" ein grandioses Album, das direkt aus der Wüste kommt. Hier bekommen traditionelle jemenitische Folksongs ein poppiges Make-Over.
Nicht aus der Wüste, sondern aus dem urbanen Tel Aviv kommen Cut Out Club. Das selbstbetitelte Debüt des acht-köpfigen Musikprojekts, gegründet von Nitzan Horesh, umfasst mal ruhige, dann wieder rockige Klänge, inspiriert von den Talking Heads oder David Bowie.
Außerdem mit dabei: Deerhoof, DJ Shadow, Mitski uvm.
