Auch kurz vor Jahresende sind einige Alt-Bekannte mit neuen Alben am Start. Neben New Order, Bob Seger und U2 auch Cindy Wilson - einst Sängerin und Songwriterin bei der New-Wave-Band The B-52s - mit einem späten wie überraschenden Solo-Debüt.
Steve Mason (ehemals Beta Band) und Primal Screams Martin Duffy gleiten als Alien Stadium durchs Raum-Zeit-Kontinuum, auch Peter Holmström (Dandy Warhols) schlingert als Pete International Airport durchs psychedelische All.
Es gibt nach 22 Jahren ein Wiederhören mit den Post-Hardcore-Wegbereitern Quicksand, raffinierte Neoklassik-Electronica von Dictaphone und natürlich Musik von unserem zwischen Kraut, New Wave und Post-Punk angesiedelten Album der Woche von Nabibah Iqbal.
